LAS VEGAS (April 3, 2019)Marshall Retail Group won three prestigious awards at the Airport Experience Awards in February at the 2019 Airport Experience Conference held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The awards for excellence included: Best Brand Retailer, Small: Marshall Rousso; Best Local-Inspired Store: Root & Branch (RDU); and Best Customer Service, Retailers, Small.

On winning the Best Customer Service Award, Chief Executive Officer of Marshall Retail Group Michael C. Wilkins shared, “We take incredible pride in our expertly trained staff who make magic happen daily at the store level. By developing rich connections with guests, they purposefully deliver the MRG promise of ‘Creating Unique Experiences’.”

Additionally, the winners of the USA Today 10 Best were also announced and Root & Branch (RDU) was revealed as the winner of Best Airport Shop for Local Merchandise, too.

Launched to support industry excellence, the Airport Experience Awards focuses on celebrating airports, leaders, operators, and concepts that are revolutionizing the landscape, evolving the industry, and changing the conversation.

The awards ceremony closed the annually-held Airport Experience Conference. Known as “the industry event of the year,” the conference is the largest gathering of executives, decision makers, and brands who operate in the airport experience industry.
