LAS VEGAS (June 28, 2013) – Marshall Retail Group announces the opening of ‘LICK,’ Las Vegas favorite candy shop, inside the Excalibur Hotel and Casino. The sweet boutique is certain to become a must-see for both children and parents visiting the family-friendly, medieval themed resort.
LICK is a visually stimulating confectionery boutique with an emphasis on lollipops and hard candy, as the name suggests. Alongside a variety of specialty lollipops and custom hard candies, LICK also sells a wide selection of chocolates, chewy candies, licorice, sours and gummies, amongst a number of other candy types. Shoppers can buy packaged sweets, or fill their bags with a variety of bulk candies from the shop’s many dispensers. LICK’s friendly staff is happy to make suggestions of flavors and candies to sample based on shopper’s particular tastes.
While kids will love the shop’s selection of novelty candies like ‘zombie blood candy’ and items by Hello Kitty, parents will become nostalgic over a selection of old school candy like Big League Chewing Gum and PEZ, available in a range of vintage character dispensers. Lip balm in Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Sugar Cookie flavors are another example of unique products you won’t find in just any candy shop.
Kids and adults will also have a great time in LICK’s interactive photo booth where they can pose for silly pictures revealing their candy-colored tongues and email snapshots to friends and family back home.
Since launching the first LICK location at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas only three years ago, the overwhelmingly positive response from customers has led MRG to open several additional locations in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and at the Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut.
