Las Vegas, NV (01/15/06) – Marshall Retail Group, America’s largest independent specialty retailer in the casino resort marketplace, has completed the acquisition of 12 stores in Las Vegas, Nevada and Hollywood, Florida from specialty retailer Bianca of Nevada, Inc.
In Las Vegas, the purchase includes six children’s fashion shops: Kid’s Kastle in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, Kid’s Karnivale in the Venetian Hotel, Kid Vegas inside the Rio Hotel, Desert Brats in the Desert Passage, and Along Came a Spider in the Fashion Show Mall and The District at Green Valley Ranch. The Las Vegas acquisition also includes a specialty gift shop, Vegas Express, in the New York-New York Hotel & Casino, and three high-fashion shoe stores: Shoooz in both the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace as well as the Venetian Hotel and Stiletto in the Fashion Show Mall.
The Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida is the site of Marshall Retail Group’s two other retail properties obtained in the January 15 acquisition including Brats, a children’s fashion store, and Xtra specializing in a variety of upscale gifts and accessories.
