LAS VEGAS, NV (December 23, 2016) – As part of their plans for expansion, the Neon Museum has partnered with Marshall Retail Group (MRG) to develop and operate its new retail store. MRG is excited to announce the opening of their latest museum store at the Neon Museum.
Previously, the Neon Museum sold merchandise in the lobby of its visitor center. Now located directly behind the reception area, the new museum store features 1,300 square feet of retail space, along with outdoor patio seating. The store offers the perfect opportunity for visitors to purchase souvenirs, gifts, snacks and beverages before and after tours.
Guests will discover a carefully curated collection of photography prints, postcards and books paying tribute to vintage Las Vegas. The store also carries Neon Museum-themed magnets, drinkware, apparel and accessories. The selection includes popular signs seen at the Boneyard – In Love, Stardust, The Mint, Ugly Duckling and more. Neon Museum merchandise will also be available at the company’s 16 Welcome to Las Vegas stores citywide.
Founded in 1996, the Neon Museum is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational, historic, arts and cultural enrichment. The museum houses a collection of 500 signs used by local casinos, motels and businesses in the 1940’s through the 1970’s.
